I live in Michigan on a couple acres out in the country, where I dream of self sufficiency, hobby farming as a family, gardening, homesteading, the wonder of medicinal herbs, holistic living, real slow food, and living by God’s beautiful creation all while making a nurturing home in the midst of it all.
I am mostly a wanna be at this point, but I am learning and want to catalog my journey to encourage and hopefully show that if I can do it anybody can.
Most of the time I like to express my thoughts through creative writing and abstraction. But I want to be able to provide a site for those of you just starting out on a quest for better health of body, soul and mind, that you can refer to for the next step and information. My hope is that this will not only be helpful to you but in a way keep me accountable on my journey as well.
I have strong opinions and beliefs- any of them published here are meant to pique interest and provoke thought; not meant to offend anyone; that being said I will do my best to be tactful, however, I am very anti-politically correct and I don’t plan on sugar coating anything. My intention is to inform and expose systems of corruption and the thought processes that create said systems.
Human life is precious. each and everyone has a soul, and were all made to fellowship with God, who made it possible for us to have a personal relationship with him through sending His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins.
4Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].
5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
6All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all.
16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
I believe in being a whole person in spirit, mind and body. That begins first by realizing our need for dependance upon God alone and trusting him to provide all our needs as we forsake the things of this world and it’s systems. I believe that God’s creation was his way of providing for our needs; mentally, physically, and spiritually.
